UMATTER, LLC was founded in 2011, by Octavia Coats, to help individuals seeking to learn, embrace, and grow on their journey of self-discovery. By learning and getting through her own struggles of abandonment, rejection, and suicide attempts, she received the necessary tools, resources, and strategies to help others. Her desire to see individuals live in their purpose while having the tools to live a healthy life mentally and emotionally caused her to start encouraging others through social media.

Starting with a page on Facebook, Octavia took her ideas and desire to help others and made it a reality. She began by posting uplifting quotes, statuses, and videos to reach her audience daily. Over the years it expanded and now, as a certified life coach, Octavia developed UMATTER, LLC to create a safe space for those in need. UMATTER, LLC is now an organization that utilizes resources to help push its clients into a place of self-discovery, liberty, and purpose. It’s more than a brand, it's a lifestyle. 

At UMATTER, LLC, our mission is to empower individuals to navigate life’s challenges, discover their inner worth, and thrive emotionally, mentally, and socially. We are dedicated to creating a safe space for healing, growth, and hope by providing life coaching, mental wellness services, and transformative programs. Through youth mentorship, suicide prevention, and community events, we aim to inspire positive change, break mental health stigmas, and build stronger communities. We believe in the profound truth that every person matters, and together, we can overcome life’s obstacles unapologetically. #UMATTER
